SMS Terms

1. Program Description

The Tom Derzypolski Campaign for Tallahassee City Commission, Seat 3 SMS program sends campaign-related text messages, which may include news, event reminders, volunteer opportunities, donation reminders, get-out-the-vote information, and voter education.

2. Opt-In Consent

You may opt in by checking an SMS consent box on a Campaign form or by another Campaign-approved opt-in method. The consent language shown on our forms is:

By checking this box, you agree to receive recurring campaign text messages from Tom for Tallahassee at the number provided. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. For help, contact campaign@tomfortallahassee.com. Consent is not a condition of donating, volunteering, or attending an event.

Consent to receive text messages is not required to donate, volunteer, attend an event, or otherwise support the Campaign.

3. Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Help and Opt-Out

Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. After you reply STOP, we may send one confirmation message and then stop sending SMS messages to that number unless you opt in again.

5. Privacy

We use SMS opt-in information to operate the Campaign's text message program and maintain consent records. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent data with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
